How do you like being next to Times Square? We love it. We like to say “it’s the best show running on Broadway.”
Is New York more sinful than other cities? Oh, absolutely. The concentration of sin per square inch in New York is so much greater.
How so? The billboards, the triple-X places, the alcoholics. Even the people coming out of the theaters–they’ve paid maybe hundreds of dollars for their tickets, but there’s no lasting joy on their faces.
Have you made a difference? Absolutely. Light dispels dark. We’re a church presence in a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah. The mayor and the governor may like to take credit for the drop in the crime rate, but we attribute it to prayer.
