Ghosh recently came into the spotlight by smashing the fastest-ever ODI fifty by an Indian woman in the fourth ODI against New Zealand in Queensland. Despite her 26-ball half-century, New Zealand emerged victorious in the end. In a conversation with Indian skipper Mithali Raj on bcci.tv, Ghosh reflected on her whirlwind knock. Many will remember the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short film that was released last summer, depicting director Kevin Tancharoen’s vision for an alternate take on the iconic characters Scorpion, Reptile, Baraka and others. The trailer was intended to show Warner Bros. the vision that Tancharoen had for a completely new take on the license, should he be given the chance to direct a new feature film. Warner wouldn’t greenlight a full-length feature, but the quality of writing and performances, in addition to the internet’s enthusiastic response were enough to convince the studio to bankroll a 9-part web series exploring the concept in greater detail....

After releasing last month, NetherRealm Studios has a bonafide hit on its hands as its recently released game, Mortal Kombat X, topped the sales charts for the month of April. With DLC addition Jason Voorhees recently being added to the game, players are wondering what’s next for the popular fighting title? According to reports, the first ‘Klassic Pack’ is on the way, and will introduce Tanya who has been a prominent figure from some of the past games in the series – along with a number of new skins for current roster characters....

With all of these rumors recently hitting and even a producer speaking about Johnny Cage during an interview, it’s looking more and more likely that the veteran fighter is going to be included in the roster. Odds also point to Mileena being a playable character due to the story trailer making her out to be a major player in the game’s campaign. With only a little over a month left before Mortal Kombat X hits store shelves, it’ll be interesting to see what other kind of leaks and information will be popping up regarding the game....
