A new Mortal Kombat movie has been in the works for decades. The franchise originally saw a 1995 movie adaptation and a sequel two years later. Version 1.21 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia, and the biggest change to the general gameplay is to the Brutalities. The minimum health requirement for certain Brutalities that require it has been adjusted. As for character-specific changes, Fujin and Robo Cop have received significant adjustments while others like Kitana and more received an adjustment or two. What’s great is that some of the DLC will even be free. In fact, all future updates for Mortal Kombat X will feature free skins to go along with the typical improvements and fixes. Skins are nice and all, but the really exciting DLC for Mortal Kombat X comes in the form of the new characters being added to the roster. We now know when the first new character, Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, is going to be added to the game....

The creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, has already confirmed that there will be guest fighters in MKX, and it looks as if one of them could be the demonic anti-hero Spawn. Hot on the heels of rumors stating that Predator will be the bonus fighter featured in the upcoming game, word has surfaced from the creator of Spawn, Todd McFarlane, that Warner Bros. Interactive currently has the rights to feature the ruthless character in any game it sees fit....
