The streaming network’s “Strong Black Lead” division announced that a number of classic Black sitcoms—many of which aired on the UPN network in the late 1990s and early 2000s—will be coming to the streaming platform over the next three months. The new episode revolved around finding Ammit’s Ushabti and stopping Harrow. The episode ended unusually, leaving room for speculation and doubt. NetherRealm got the likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger for MK 11, but it seems the studio didn’t get the actor and former politician to voice the T-800’s lines. The shortcoming is obvious from the first dialogue in the trailer, but the gameplay seems legit nonetheless. Check out the Terminator’s gameplay in Mortal Kombat 11 below. The T-800 has a varying moveset, but it looks like the Terminator will be a mix of a grappler and a brawler....

This day one patch information comes from the PlayStation 4 console but it’s fair to assume the PC and Xbox One will be getting this important update as well. Weighing in at a hefty 1.8GB, the patch includes a number of updates including improvements to online stability, game balancing, and a host of bug fixes. Interestingly enough, the Reddit user who created the thread also reported that, after installing the patch, the boss fights in the game became more difficult and reduced the amount of ‘koins’ earned from completing fights in the Tower Mode....

As more fighters are revealed and confirmed we can’t help but feel the same excitement that filled our gamer souls when the first Mortal Kombat was released in 1992 – at least those of us old enough to remember when the franchise started. Even though not much has changed about how the game is played, there’s still a general sense of enthusiasm with each new sequel thanks to new characters, unique guest fighters and even more blood, guts and gorier fatalities....
